Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a social simulation game released by Nintend on Nintendo Switch platform on March 20, 2020. It is one of the most famous game that led Nintendo to have success on selling their brand new device, Nintendo Swith, in 2020. What the user can do is, basically, they get to live in the undeveloped island with few villagers together to build and humanize the island with their favor. The player start with living in a tent instead of house due to the debt problem, but they can expand it to the big mansion as they pay off the bill. They can decorate inside and outside the house freely with the furnitures that they get from several events, such as purchasing them from a shop, receiving it from the villagers after the quest, or trade them with other players. There is no such a goal in this game because everything is up to user's pace, but users can aim for receiving 5 stars for their island review and customize the whole island as they want.

The purpose of this game is to relieve people's stress and live a slow life in this peaceful island. Another advantage to play this game is that the users can easily do multiplayer with their family or friends who have Animal Crossing: New Horizons on their Nintendo Switch! They can visit each other's island with the Nintendo Online if they are far away from each other, but also, if they are together in close distance, they can simply utilize local connection without Nintendo Online to meet people. In addition, as Nintendo Switch allows 2 people to play together on one device, the users can separate the Joy-Con and use Call Resident app in Animal Crossing to play as the multiplayer.

My first impression on this game can be described as 'wholesome.' This game brought me true amusement without any stress or pressure like PVP games. I was waiting for this game for a long time before because I also played previous series of Animal Crossing on Nintendo 3DS. I can say this is one of the best game I have ever played so far since there is no limitation on this game for what you want to do. Such actions you can take are swim, dive, fish, catch insects, decorate islands, and communicate with villagers. You can also invite new villagers to your island by going to Nook's Mystery Tour Islands with a ticket called Nook Mile Ticket. You can earn Nook Miles from ATM, accomplish achievement on Nook Miles App, etc. I usually spent most of my time to make my dream villagers to live on my island by gathering so many Nook Mile Tickets. I gave 4.7 out of 5.0 for this game because this game is considered masterpiece for me and also others, but I deducted 0.3 points since the users can get sick of this game after playing for a long time. To be honest, I already played this game for 700 hours according to my data on Nintendo Switch, there will be no doubt to buy this game for sure.
